The Super Happy Improv Troupe is a comedy team devout to the art of Improvisational Comedy, Theatrical Performance and Quality Entertainment. Improvisation is universal, organic and all encompassing. It is the mark of a great jazz player, the mark of an experienced chef and the zenith of an entertainer. Whether it be the small jokes in a private conversation with an old friend or the stage performance of a lifetime, Improv is something we all need, all use and can all embrace. In this craft that is as much an art as it is a discipline, there have been several defining moments that have revolutionized Improvisational Comedy forever. Some were written, some were televised, some were seen, some were taught, but a very great few were experienced. We believe the next pivotal moment in Improv is coming. We believe we will be the heralds of the Improv Insurrection. For we are the New World Order of Improv. We are here to echelon the New Frontier of Comedy. We are the pioneers of the Improv Manifest Destiny.

The Super Happy Improv Troupe performs a multitude of Improv. We have multiple show formats and a variety of original Performance Pieces to ensure every show is utterly unique and unpredictable. The format of the show can be almost anything. From a showcase of our original short form Performance Pieces to an entire long form, improvised play. We always use audience participation and are known for our boisterous fans. We have done competitive Improv, both individual competition and team battles. We have even utilized the erratic Wheel of Improv.
Our Improvisationalists are highly skilled and highly trained comedians, actors and stage performers. The original cast, our core unit, hold the rank of Iron Improver. Together we are the team that started the Super Happy Improv Troupe and brought it to the world. Additional members of our ensemble are known as the Developmental Improv Players, a.k.a. the Dips. They are newer members to the team, but are still very talented individuals who have joined our cause to make you, the people, laugh.
The Super Happy Improv Troupe is a unique and hilarious show. We have performed all over New York City and have now found our Home at the City at the Broadway Comedy Club.
